The 6th Annual Stuff the Bus event will take place on Saturday July 24th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hannaford’s on Rt. 22 in Pawling, which is right down the road from the Pawling Resource Center, its beneficiary! Pawling Rotary Club and event partners Hannaford, Pawling Resource Center and Pawling Central School District are pleased and proud to sponsor this day of “giving back” to benefit the Food Pantry of the Pawling Resource Center. This is an annual event that inspires not only generosity of giving, but generosity of heart, as well.

Volunteers from all four organizations will be on hand to help make this day a success for the PRC and the Pawling community members they serve. The Pawling Central School District bus will be manned by CSEA (Civil Service Employee Association) drivers, who have graciously agreed to. volunteer their services.

Pawling Rotary Volunteers will be wearing their blue Pawling Rotarians at Work shirts, so be sure to look for them if you have any questions. They will be there to assist you with the bus stuffing process.

Donna Munoz , Human Resources Manager at Hannaford in Pawling, has confirmed the date, and aisles of urgent needs for the Resource Center will be well stocked. Signs will be posted in easy to spot places throughout the store alerting patrons to the location of PRC essential items. Hannaford employees will be busy setting up the store for this community wide event.

Stuff the Bus will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m., so if you wish to participate, please shop during these hours. At 1:00 p.m. the school bus will head over to the Resource Center at 126 East Main Street in Pawling village, where PRC volunteers will load these crucial items into the center and onto the shelves!

So, save the date! Saturday, July 24th!
