Agents from the Hartford division of the Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms served an arrest warrant Wednesday in Gaylordsville, arresting a 35-year-old man for drug trafficking and drug trafficking conspiracy.

Jeremiah Clement, 35, was arrested at 713 Kent Road in Gaylordsville with the assistance of New Milford Police. He was arraigned in Federal Court in Hartford Wednesday.

AFT Supervisor of Special Agents Tim Carroll declined further details Wednesday saying Clement’s arrest was part of an ongoing investigation. Carroll did say that Clement did not live in the Gaylordsville residence where he was arrested and was from out of state.

Two other men were also charged in the indictment, both from Illinois, with arrest warrants issued April 21. Bacus was appearing Wednesday before a U.S. judge in Roxford, Ill.
