William, (Bill or Billy), Marven 62, of Wingdale, NY died on May 27, 2021, at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY following an illness.
He was born on May 2, 1959, in Mt. Kisco, NY, son of the late Louis and Alma (Koenig) Marven.
Bill graduated from Immaculate High School in Danbury, CT in 1977.
Following High School, Bill worked at the Lloyd Lumber Company and later was employed by Dill’s Best Building Center as well as Ace Endico Corporation both in Brewster, NY.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Louis. He has two surviving sisters: Elaine (husband Michael) and Caroline (husband Joe) as well as one niece and two nephews.
Bill will be remembered as a generous, kind soul with a good sense of humor. He loved the Rolling Stones and his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He enjoyed spending free time with his friends, neighbors, and family. He also loved spending hours outside, working on his garden and on his stone walls.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday June 6, 2021, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 7th at 10:00 am at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster.
A reception will follow the mass at Aversano’s Restaurant, 1620 Rte. 22, Brewster.
