Leon Berger, 89 years old and a resident of Pawling, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Putnam Hospital, Carmel, NY.
Born in the Bronx on October 12, 1931 to Victor and Minnie (Waltzer) Berger, he served in the US Air Force in Korea from 1951-1955.
He graduated from Parsons School of Design and started Leon Berger Design working in New York City, Westchester County, and Greenwich.
He was married to Halina Lebenstein who predeceased him in October 2015.
Leon was an accomplished piano player and entertainer who appeared in many community theater productions and had entertained at shows while in the Air Force.
Private services were held by the family.
