Amenia – Wendy J. Wilcox, 58, a longtime resident of Amenia, NY, died on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT. Ms. Wilcox was a therapy aide at the Taconic DDSO in Wassaic, NY for 30 years, retiring in 2010. Born on April 27, 1956 in Sharon, CT she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Doris (Vincent) Irish Wilcox.
Ms. Wilcox is survived by her companion, Ernie Deyo, of Amenia, NY and two daughters, Dawn Annis and her husband, Larry, of Pleasant Valley, NY and Mary O’Dell and her partner, Darrin Seeley, of Bloomingdale, NY. She is also survived by several siblings and two grandchildren, Jeremy Annis and Jack Seeley.
Calling hours will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
