Poughkeepsie, New York – On April 27, 2021, the New York State Police arrested Darius J. Wood Sr., age 46, of Poughkeepsie, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5^th degree, a class D felony.

At approximately 7:00 p.m. Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2009 Honda for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law on North White Street in the city Poughkeepsie.  Investigation discovered the operator, Darius Wood, possessed approximately 1.2 grams of crack-cocaine.

Darius Wood was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Volkman of the City of Poughkeepsie Court and released on his own recognizance to return on April 29, 2021, at 9:00 a.m.
