Dutchess BOCES Budget Unanimously Approved by 13 Districts

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Boards of Education of the 13 Dutchess County school districts unanimously approved the 2021-22 budget for Dutchess BOCES at independent board meetings yesterday. The vote approves an administrative budget of $4,856,000.

“We are very pleased that our component districts have approved our administrative budget for the coming school year,” said District Superintendent Dr. Richard Hooley. “We, here in Dutchess County, work very hard to provide the best educational experience for all students. Our collaboration has only increased during the past year while facing the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The Boards of Education also voted to fill the three vacancies on the Dutchess BOCES Board of Trustees. Elected were Richard Keller-Coffey, Robert Rubin, and Karen Smythe. The terms begin July 1 and are effective through June 30, 2024.
