Obituary, Gwendolyn C. Pruner

Gwendolyn C. Pruner, 58, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Regional Hospice in Danbury, CT. Mrs. Pruner was a bank teller a Putnam County Savings Bank in Pawling, NY for 15 years.

Born on May 15, 1962 in Springfield, MA she was the daughter of Sophia (Spivey) Long of Dover Plains and the late Albert Long II. On August 13, 2005 in Honolulu, Hawaii she married Martin Pruner who survives at home.

Mrs. Pruner was an avid reader. She enjoyed making jewelry, knitting and riding their Harley Davidson motorcycle. She was also a member of the Dover 2nd Baptist Church in Dover Plains.

In addition to her mother and husband, Mrs. Pruner is survived by a brother, Kenneth Long of Dover Plains and several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, Mrs. Pruner was predeceased by a son, Zachary Pruner and a brother, Albert Long III.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral Home.
