Connecticut woman arrested for felony drug possession on I-684

Southeast, New York – On March 8, 2021, the New York State Police from the Brewster barracks arrested Stephanie Deleon, age 33, of Danbury, CT, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree with intent to sell, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, both class B felonies, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th degree, a class C felony.

At approximately 8:25 p.m., Troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2016 Ford Explorer for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast.  Investigation determined the operator, Stephanie Deleon, was in possession of approximately 10.5 grams of MDMA, and 4.1 grams of cocaine.

Deleon was arraigned before the town of Southeast Court and released on her own recognizance due to reappear on April 13, 2021, at 9:30 a.m.
