Ramapo, NY – At approximately 5:00 a.m., State Police were dispatched to investigate a serious injury crash on I-87 northbound, in the town of Ramapo, Rockland County.

The crash occurred in the area of mile marker 26.9 involving a tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle.  One driver has been confirmed deceased at this time.

The right lane remains blocked while the scene is being reconstructed.  Traffic is currently delayed by approximately 2 miles.
