State Police in Livingston continue to investigate hate crime and seek public’s assistance

Copake, New York – Investigators in Livingston are seeking the public’s assistance investigating a hate crime in the town of Copake which occurred at the Copake Falls State Campground located at 253 Route 344 between the dates of November 13-15, 2020.

Investigators are hoping to speak to any park visitors at the park during that time who have not yet been interviewed by the New York State Police.  The investigation revolves around racially offensive language found carved into a wooded post.
