PRESS RELEASE

Pleasant Valley, New York – On April 20, 2015, New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Laura L. Beneway, 50 years old, of Clinton, New York, for Petit Larceny, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to investigation a larceny complaint at the Dunkin Donuts in Pleasant Valley. The defendant was observed stealing a coffee mug before leaving the store. Following an investigation conducted by responding Troopers, Beneway was located at her Clinton Corners home and taken into custody.

The vehicle Beneway was operating was also found to be uninsured, unregistered and operated by Beneway who did not possess a valid driver’s license.

Beneway was issued appearance tickets ordering her to appear before the Town of Pleasant Valley Court on April 30, 2015 at 5:30 p.m.
