Alieyah Brown of Stormville, NY Participates in Emerson Stage’s “Men On Boats” at Emerson College

BOSTON, MA (12/01/2020)– Despite moving into an online format, Emerson students shined in their virtual production of “Men On Boats.” The production ran from September 24-27 and was directed by Maureen Shea and Sarah Hickler.

Jaclyn Backhaus’ “Men On Boats” was part of Emerson Stage’s Fall 2020 lineup. This production tells the story of the 1869 expedition of a one-armed captain and a thrill-seeking crew as they brave the adventures found over the course of the Colorado River.

Among those involved was Stormville, NY native Alieyah Brown, who was credited as Summer. Brown is pursuing a degree in Theatre and Performance and is a member of the Emerson College Class of 2023.
