Robbery arrest in Cortlandt

Cortlandt, New York – On November 17, 2020, the New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested a seventeen-year-old for Robbery in the 1st degree, a class B felony.

State Police and Westchester County Police Department units were dispatched by Westchester County 911 for a robbery on Watch Hill Road in the town of Cortlandt at approximately 12:39 p.m.  Investigation found the seventeen-year-old arranged to meet another juvenile in order to sell a vape pen, and then robbed that individual at knife point.

The seventeen-year-old was arraigned before the Westchester County Court Youth Part and released to parental custody, with a return date set for November 18, 2020, at 10:00 a.m.
