Obituary, Francis “Frank” O’Rourke, Jr.

Francis “Frank” O’Rourke, Jr., 59, of Pawling ,NY passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020.
Francis was the eldest of six children, predeceased by his parents Francis and Jean.
Francis was a member of the NYPD before following in his father’s footsteps and joining the FDNY.
Francis was a member of St. John’s Church, Pawling. He was an avid sports fan; especially of the Rangers, the Mets, and the Browns.  He loved being outdoors,  running, biking, and playing golf.
Francis is survived by his wife Betty and  his beloved and treasured children, Kevin O’Rourke and Caitlin O’Rourke Touhey (Jake), his brothers Kevin (Barbara) , Christopher (Ann) and his sisters, Mary (Rich) , Kathleen (Billy) and Theresa , as well many beloved nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling on Wednesday, November 4th from 3-7 PM.  Masks are required and “social distancing” observed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Thursday, November 5th at 11 AM at St. John’s Church, 39 East Main Street, Pawling; masks are required and “social distancing” observed.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Frank may be made to “Stephen Siller Tunnel 2 Towers” at www.tunnel2towers.org
