Help Ron Steinman Find A Kidney!

Ron Steinman, a member of the Pawling community, and former NBC News bureau chief, has serious kidney disease and is launching a campaign to find a living transplant donor.

As a journalist, including 32 years with NBC News, a dozen of them with the Today Show…Ron has covered wars and peace conferences, been present in the halls of power and walked the streets of small town America, telling others people’s stories.

Author of the books “The Soldier’s Story” and “Inside Television’s First War” about his time in Vietnam, among others… now he needs help to tell his own story.

He is working with a non-profit, Renewal, which recommends he ask people’s help to spread the word about his search. Renewal believes the wider the net that is cast the likelier he is to find someone who will come forward. Someone who is willing to make this gift and be part of Ron’s life in this remarkable way, if they only knew he was in need.

One person is all he needs.

Renewal asks anyone who is interested in learning more to be in touch with them. Email R23876@renewal.org or phone 718 431 9832 x209.
