Stuart Silvern , 64, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020 at his home in Poughquag surrounded by his loving family and entered into the presence of the Lord.
He was born in San Jose, California on April 30, 1956 to Marvin and Leona (Poley) Silvern and received his Masters degree from Pace. He married Sheryle Peck on October 18, 1956. They were blessed with almost 34 years of marriage. Stuart was a computer programmer for IBM and a direct caregiver for Taconic DDSO.
Stuart loved to have fun with his family. He loved visiting their upstate home. Stuart was a strong man of faith and an active member of Hopewell Reformed Church.
Stuart is survived by his wife Sheryle; son, Kenneth, and daughter, Emily (Joseph) LaValle; sisters, Shereen Silvern and Wendy Hogan; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Eileen and Ronald Peck; brothers-in-law, Ronald Peck and Stephen (Carol) Peck; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Peck, and several nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held at Hopewell Reformed Church for his immediate family.
