Erratic vehicle complaint ends in arrest for Bronx man

PRESS RELEASE

Yorktown, New York – On April 8, 2015 at approximately 3:10 p.m., the New York State Police in Hawthorne arrested Santos J. Segarra, age 31, of the Bronx, New York, for driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to investigate an erratic vehicle observed traveling southbound on the Taconic State Parkway. Police located the described vehicle in the area of the Croton Reservoir subsequent to a one-car property damage auto accident. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Segarra, was driving while intoxicated.

Segarra provided a positive breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .11% and was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Yorktown Court on
April 30, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
