Obituary, Henry P Zemsky

Henry P Zemsky of Putnam Lake, died peacefully on June 4, 2020. He was 71 years old.
He was born in New York City on June 27, 1948, son of Henry and Sophie Zemsky.
On January 22, 1972 he married the love of his life Kathleen P Zemsky at St. Mels church in Flushing Queens.
He served in the US Army, stationed in Germany from 1968-1970.
He worked as a General Manager 25 Years and retired from Paragon Cable. He then ventured into Entrepreneurship.
He was a very active member of the community. He was a President of the PLCC, Coached baseball for the Patterson Little League, he helped start the men’s Putnam Lake Softball League, member of Chamber of Commerce, and served as the Commander of the VFW Post in Putnam Lake.
He was a dedicated husband, Father, Grandfather and friend who enjoyed days spent with family and friends.
Henry is survived by his two daughters, Jessica and her husband Robert Martini of New Fairfield, CT, Genesis Zemsky and her fiancé Mark Kishbaugh of Pawling, NY. Six adoring grandchildren Hunter, Sophia, Logan, Hannah, Nicolas, Francesca, his sister Denise Hynes (Thomas)of Poughquag, NY, sister-in-law Susan Zemsky of Vernon NJ. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 45 years Kathleen P Zemsky, Son, Henry P Zemsky Jr., Michael Zemksy and his brother Thomas Zemsky.
Anyone who knew Henry knew he loved a big gathering. A memorial mass will be held at Sacred Heart church on Saturday August 29th at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Diabetes Association.
