Kinderhook- Suspicious person complaint leads to multiple drug charges

On Saturday, April 18, 2015, at approximately 10:32 P.M., State Police Kinderhook was dispatched to the Stewarts Shop on Route 9, in the Town of Kinderhook, for a male acting suspiciously. After interviewing the male, Ronald Mastrion, age 63 of Brooklyn, Troopers discovered that he was in possession of six different types of controlled substances, as well as marijuana. Mr. Mastrion was arrested and charged with six counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance Outside of its Original Container, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Mr. Mastrion was issued an Appearance Ticket returnable to the Town of Kinderhook Court on April 21, 2015, at 6:00 P.M..
