Stanford man arrested for sexually abusing a child

Stanford, New York – On July 2, 2020, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Vincent E. Ferris, age 74, of Stanford, for two counts of Criminal Sex Act in the 3rd degree, a class E felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.

A search warrant was executed at the residence of Vincent Ferris on July 2, 2020, subsequent to an investigation regarding criminal sex acts allegedly committed by Ferris against a victim under the age of seventeen.

Ferris was arraigned before the town of Pine Plains Court, and released to the supervision of probation.  He is next scheduled to appear before the Court on July 22, 2020, at 4:30 p.m.
