PRESS RELEASE

On May 5, 2020, State Police Investigators from Catskill arrested Peter J. Lentz, age 37 from Catskill, NY. Lentz was charged with 7 counts of Possession of Sexual Performance of a Child, a felony.  The Catskill Bureau of Criminal of Investigation (BCI) along with the Troop F Computer Crimes Unit, located multiple pictures of child pornography on Lentz’s computer. Lentz was currently serving year 8 of a 10 year probation sentence for Sex abuse 1^st, Possession of Child Pornography and was a registered sex offender. Lentz was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Catskill Court on June 25, 2020 at 3 p.m.
