Lagrange, New York – On March 30, 2020, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Francisco J. Gonzalez, age 27, of Bronx, NY, for Identity Theft in the 1^st degree, Forgery in the 2^nd degree, Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 2^nd degree, Grand Larceny in the 3^rd degree, all class D felonies, and Conspiracy in the 5^th degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Investigation found Francisco Gonzalez stole the identity of an out-of-state victim, and then attempted to purchase a vehicle with forged documentation from a dealership in the town of Lagrange.

Gonzalez was arraigned before the town of Lagrange Court, and released on his own recognizance to return on May 5, 2020, at 4:30 p.m.
