Incident in the Early Morning Hours
TOWN OF ULSTER, N.Y. — A woman died early Monday morning after jumping from the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge, according to local authorities.
The Ulster Police Department reported that officers were dispatched at 3:22 a.m. on Monday, August 18, following a 911 call about an individual who had gone over the bridge into the Hudson River.
Upon arrival, first responders located the woman near the shoreline of Charles Rider Park. Despite efforts at the scene, she was pronounced dead.

Authorities have not released the woman’s identity or further information regarding the circumstances. The Ulster Police Department stated no additional details will be provided at this time.
