Wappinger man arrested for sexual conduct against a child

Wappinger, New York – On March 25, 2020, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks in conjunction with the Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center arrested Hennessy J. Taylor, age 40, of Wappinger, for Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the 2nd degree, a class D felony.

Investigation determined Taylor engaged in a course of sexual conduct against a child victim under the age of eleven-years-old.

Taylor was arraigned before the town of Wappinger Court, and remanded by the Honorable Judge Kitchen to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 secured bond.  Taylor is next scheduled to appear before the court on May 30, 2020, at 5:30 p.m.
