DAR and SAR Join to Present Genealogy WorkshopThe Enoch Crosby Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will join forces with the Westchester/Putnam Sons of the American Revolution to provide a Genealogy Workshop on Saturday afternoon, April 18th. Free and open to the public, this Workshop will be held from 2-4 pm at the Brewster Elks Lodge, 1430 Route 22, Brewster, NY. Wifi and refreshments will be available. The lodge is handicapped accessible.
Beginning with the basics, expert genealogists from both the DAR and SAR will seek to educate attendees in the practices and potential pitfalls of genealogy research. From “where do I start” to the best online resources, the comprehensive seminar combines straightforward information with experienced researchers to give you the best understanding of how to investigate your ancestry. Whether you plan to join an ancestral-based society or just want to satisfy your own curiosity, you’ll gain valuable information through this Workshop.
