Philmont man arrested for child pornography

Philmont, New York – On November 26, 2019, the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Anthony Krein, age 37, of Philmont, for Possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.
A cyber tip was received by the New York State Police regarding the possible uploading of child pornography. Investigation by the Troop K Computer Crimes Unit and SP Livingston Bureau of Criminal Investigation found Krein did possess child pornography.
Krein was arraigned before the village of Philmont Court, and released on his own recognizance to return before the Court on December 19, 2019, at 6:00 p.m.
