Inmate Found Unresponsive
The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office identified the man as Chad William Scott. He had been booked into the facility on Friday, August 15.
Deputies discovered Scott unresponsive around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, just one day after his intake. Jail staff and paramedics immediately began lifesaving measures, but their efforts were unsuccessful, and Scott was pronounced dead.
