Downstate Correctional Facility inmate charged with forcible touching

PRESS RELEASE

Fishkill, New York – On April 14, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation charged 44-year-old Jonny Anjudar, of Downstate Correctional Facility, with Forcible Touching, a Class A Misdemeanor.

On February 17, 2015, Troopers were contacted by the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Services at Downstate Correctional Facility to investigate the report of a sexual offense. Pursuant to an investigation conducted by New York State DOCCS and Investigators from the Wappinger barracks, it was discovered that a male inmate forcibly touched a female Downstate Correctional employee.

A warrant was issued by the Town of Fishkill Court ordering Anjudar’s arrest. On April 14, 2015, Anjudar was arrested and remanded back the custody of NYS DOCCS.
