Rain during the day today in the valleys will mix with and change to wet snow this evening before tapering off by midnight. Areas above 1500 feet will see changeover to snow sooner. Snow amounts of around an inch or less are expected for areas below 1500 feet elevation, with mainly 1 to 3 inches possible above 1500 feet. Low temperatures will fall below freezing tonight across the area, which could result in any residual moisture freezing on surfaces. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
