State Police and Hudson PD arrest two after search warrant executed on Columbia Street

Hudson, New York – On October 8, 2019, the New York State Police Troop K Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team (VGNET), and the city of Hudson Police Department arrested Aaron L. Lomax, age 29, of Hudson, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree with intent to sell, a class B felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree, a class D felony, and Criminal use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree, a class A misdemeanor, and Lakuan Deleon, age 25, of Ravena, NY, for Grand Larceny in the 4th degree, a class E felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor, as a Fugitive of Justice out of state.

Subsequent to an investigation a search warrant was issued by the Columbia County Court, and executed on October 8, 2019 at the residence of Aaron Lomax on Columbia Street in the City of Hudson.  Lomax was arrested for possession of a quantity of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia.  Deleon was arrested by the city of Hudson Police Department for the larceny of a wallet, possession of a small amount of cocaine, and several out-of-state arrest warrants.

Lomax was arraigned before the city of Hudson Court, and remanded by the Honorable Judge Herman to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 secure bond.  Lomax is next scheduled to appear before the Court on October 14, 2019, at 9:30 a.m. before the Court.

Deleon’s arrest and arraignment was handled by the city of Hudson Police Department.
