Michael P. Neggie, age 53, died suddenly in Queens, NY, on September 25, 2019. Michael was a resident of the Bronx, NY as well as Patterson, NY.
He was born on February 22, 1966, in Flushing New York, son of Joseph and Hannah Neggie. He attended school there and later received an Associate Degree from Dutchess Community College.
Michael was a Technician for Verizon for over 23 years working out of their Manhattan location. He also served proudly in the United States Coast Guard Reserves. He will be remembered as a hard worker and very devoted father to his four children.
Michael is not only survived by his parents, but also his loving wife, Grace, and his four children; Patrick, Johanna, James and Peter. He is additionally survived by his four brothers and three sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 4, 2019, at Sacred Heart Church in Patterson at 11 am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heave Cemetery. Friends and family may visit 1 Putnam Avenue on October 3, between the hours of 4 and 8 pm to pay respects to the family.
