CONNECTICUT MAN ARRESTED FOR DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED

Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. reports the arrest of a Connecticut man for Driving While Intoxicated. On September 16, 2019, at approximately 12:22 am, Deputy Ronald Yeager and Deputy Connor Carroll observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on Danbury Road, in the Town of Southeast. Deputy Yeager initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. A subsequent investigation revealed that the vehicle’s driver, David Krukowski, age 24, of New Preston, Connecticut was allegedly intoxicated. Mr. Krukowski was arrested and transported to the Putnam County Correctional Facility for arrest processing. Mr. Krukowski was processed and charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated- Operating a Motor Vehicle with .18 of 1% or more Blood Alcohol Content- (Misdemeanor), and Driving While Intoxicated (Misdemeanor.)
