Troopers Arrest Harbor Freight Employee for Embezzling Funds

On September 16, 2019, management from the Harbor Freight store located on Dunning Rd in the Town of Wallkill reported the theft of cash from the store.  An investigation conducted by store management and State Police determined that between September 6, 2019, and September 16, 2019, approximately $17,000 had been removed from the store’s safe.  At the conclusion of the investigation, George Brischler, age 38 of Sparrowbush, NY was arrested and charged with the theft.

Brischler was charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree and Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, both felonies.  He was released on his own recognizance and ordered to appear in the Town of Wallkill Justice Court.
