Video submissions being accepted now through April 20, 2015!

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. April 8, 2015- This April, Dutchess Outreach is introducing a brand new competition, Hudson Valley Sings! This karaoke style talent show is asking you, the community members aged 13-18, to submit videos of themselves singing with a karaoke style background for a chance to sing at a Hudson Valley Renegades game on July 24, 2015. Sponsored by the Pied Piper Youth Theater in Stormville, New York this competition will allow teens throughout the County to show off their singing talent and perform in front of a live audience.

The competition will be held in three exciting rounds.
· The first will consist of video submissions in which contestants will send in videos of themselves singing from NOW until April 20, 2015.

· The second round will allow the public to vote for their favorite singers, whom will advance to round three.

· In the third round, finalists will perform live for a panel of celebrity judges, including Jillian Turner, on May 16, 2015, where the winner will be chosen. All singers who perform on this day will sing God Bless America at the Renegades game on July 24.

The prizes include: Grand prize winner will sing the their own song, and the National Anthem as well as receive a $100.00 cash prize at the Renegades game, second place winner will receive a $50.00 cash prize, and the audience favorite will receive a $25.00 cash prize.
