New York State Police responded to a disturbance on Mill Road in the town of Red Hook

PRESS RELEASE
Red Hook, New York – On September 15, 2019, at approximately 8:00 p.m., the New York State Police responded to a residence on Mill Road in the town of Red Hook for a reported disturbance involving a gun and shots fired.

An investigation subsequently determined the incident was falsely reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Red Hook Police Department, Rhinebeck Police Department, Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, and the Red Hook Fire Department also responded to the scene to assist.
