State Police Ellenville arrest two females for Robbery 2nd Degree

PRESS RELEASE

On September 10, 2019, State Police from Ellenville responded to an assault and robbery on Samsonville Road in the town of Rochester. Upon arrival, troopers spoke to the victim who states that she was walking down the road when a green Dodge Neon stopped in front of her. Two females exited the vehicle and punched her in the face, held her against the car and forcibly stole her cell phone.

State police located the vehicle and took Tiffany Smith, age 30 from Kerhonkson into custody. She was charged with Robbery 2nd Degree (felony) and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana (violation). Christina Tirado, age 31 of Accord, was located later. She was found to be in possession of cocaine, Oxycodone pills, and marihuana. Tirado was charged with Robbery 2nd Degree (felony), Tampering with Physical Evidence (felony), seven counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree (misdemeanor), and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. (Violation).

Both Smith and Tirado were remanded to Ulster County Jail in lieu of bail.
