Mahopac man charged with assault

Putnam Valley, New York – On April 13, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Robert L. Davis III, 40 years old, of Mahopac, New York, for Assault 3rd Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Troopers were dispatched to an assault that occurred on Peekskill Hollow Road in the Town of Putnam Valley. The victim alleges that Davis arrived at his home and punched him in the face following a verbal altercation. The victim contacted 911 for assistance and the Davis fled prior to police arriving on scene.
The victim was transported to Hudson Valley Hospital with a facial injury.
Davis was located a short time later and charged with Assault. He was issued an Appearance Ticket ordering him to appear before the Town of Putnam Valley Court on April 14, 2015.
