Local transfer students to attend SUNY Oswego

OSWEGO, NY (08/01/2019)– More than 600 transfer students, including several from the area, have reserved places at SUNY Oswego for fall 2019. Classes will begin Aug. 26.

Bryce T. Muller of South Road in Holmes last attended Michigan State University, and is an intended electrical and computer engineering major

Alex D. Guerra of Cann Lane in Patterson last attended Siena College, and is an intended zoology major

Megan L. Craig of Woodside Street in Pine Plains last attended Dutchess Community College, and is an intended art major

Shane Addonizio of Judith Drive in Stormville last attended University of New Haven, and is an intended criminal justice major

Admission to SUNY Oswego is competitive. U.S. News Media Group counts SUNY Oswego among the top public regional universities in the North for 2019, and the Princeton Review includes Oswego in its 2019 college guidebook “The Best Northeastern Colleges” and in its national list of “Green Colleges.”

A 158-year-old comprehensive college in the State University of New York system, Oswego enrolls about 8,000 students in its College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; School of Business; School of Communication, Media and the Arts; and School of Education.
