To the above named Defendants:

You are hereby summoned to answer the complaint in this action and to serve a copy of your answer, or if the complaint is not served with this summons, to serve a notice of appearance on the Plaintiff’s attorneys within thirty days after the service of this summons, exclusive of the day of service, and in case of your failure to appear or answer, judgment will be taken against you by default for the relief demanded in the complaint.

NOTICE YOU ARE IN DANGER OF LOSING YOUR HOME

If you do not respond to this summons and complaint by serving a copy of the answer on the attorney for the mortgage company who filed this foreclosure proceeding against you and filing the answer with the court, a default judgment may be entered and you can lose your home.

Speak to an attorney or go to the court where your case is pending for further information on how to answer the summons and protect your property.

Sending a payment to your mortgage company will not stop this foreclosure action.

YOU MUST RESPOND BY SERVING A COPY OF THE ANSWER ON THE ATTORNEY FOR THE PLAINTIFF (MORTGAGE COMPANY) AND FILING THE ANSWER WITH THE COURT.

This is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose.

The foregoing summons is served upon you by publication pursuant to an order of Honorable Christi J Acker, Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, signed the 22nd day of July, 2019 at Poughkeepsie, New York.

ALL that certain plot, piece or parcel of land, with the buildings and improvements thereon erected, if any, situate, lying and being in the Town of Amenia, Dutchess County, New York which is more particularly bounded and described as follows:

BEGINNING at a steel pin set in the westerly boundary of the Perry Corners Road, said point being South 53 degrees 38 minutes West 391.4 feet and South 44 degrees 23 minutes West 36.8 feet measured along the westerly boundary of the Perry Corners Road from a corner formed by the intersection of the southerly line of lands of D. H. Lomb and the northerly line of lands of Richard V. and Sally F. Kain, with the above mentioned westerly boundary of the Perry Corners Road;

THENCE through lands of said Kain the following courses and distances:

North 61 degrees 32 minutes West 150.0 feet to a steel pin set,

THENCE South 28 degrees 28 minutes West 100.00 feet to a steel pin set and

THENCE South 61 degrees 32 minutes East 150.00 feet to a steel pin set in the said westerly boundary of the Perry Corners Road;

THENCE North 28 degrees 28 minutes East 100 feet along a wire fence and the above mentioned westerly boundary of the Perry Corners Road to the point of BEGINNING.

These premises are also known as 53 Perrys Corner Road, Amenia, NY 12501.
