On July 30th 2019 at 11:45 PM, Officers from the Town of East Fishkill Police Department were dispatched via 911 to the area of Tina’s Bar, located at 4081 Route 52 in Stormville, for the report of a Car/Pedestrian Accident. Officers responding to the scene discovered a 52-year-old male just off the roadway on the north shoulder who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are withholding the man’s name pending notification of family members. It appears the male was in the westbound driving lane when a 2006 Audi driving westbound struck him. The driver of the Audi, a 19-year-old male from Carmel, New York stopped shortly after the collision. One of the passengers in the Audi was transported to Putnam Hospital for injuries related to the accident. The accident is still under investigation. East Fishkill Police was assisted at the scene and with the investigation by, the East Fishkill Fire Department and Fire Police, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and the Dutchess County Medical Examiners Office.
