Obituary, Peter M. Kells

South Salem – Peter M. Kells, 54, a senior vice-president of Bank of America, of South Salem, NY, died on Monday, July 15, 2019, at his residence.

He was the husband of Michele (Colletti) Kells.

Mr. Kells was born in Providence, RI, a son of the late Richard and Anne (Pate) Kells and was raised in Pawling, NY where he attended Pawling schools and graduated from SUNY-Albany.

A resident of South Salem for the past twenty-six years coming from New York, NY, he was a member of the Lewisboro Land Trust. He enjoyed golf, fishing, hiking, gardening, landscaping, skiing and nature. Most of all, he enjoyed the time shared most especially with his family and friends. He was a NY Yankees fan and attended St. Mary Church of Ridgefield.

In addition to his wife Michele of thirty years, he is survived by their three sons, Joseph, Nicholas and Zachary; three brothers, Stephen, Paul and Thomas; five sisters, Patricia Jensen, Joan Kells, Mary Cusack, Linda Drumheller and Teresa Colette and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Peter was predeceased by a brother, Richard.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 18, 2019, at 10:15 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 55 Catoonah St., Ridgefield.

Burial will follow in South Salem Cemetery, South Salem, NY.

The family will receive friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Wednesday, July, 17, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
