Obituary, Elwood “Dick” L. St. Clair

Elwood “Dick” L. St. Clair, 86, a resident of Waterbury, CT, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019, on the Vitas Hospice Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT. Mr. St. Clair was a metal stamper for Dayton Rogers Company in Naugatuck, CT.

Born on March 6, 1933, in Rockland, ME, he was the son of the late Robert St. Clair and Cora Young. On June 1, 1974, in Danbury, CT, he married Beatrice Woodin who predeceased him.

Mr. St. Clair is survived by his children, Sandra Rose and her husband, Michael, of Cody, WY, LeRoy St. Clair of Maine, Gregory St. Clair and his wife, Brenda, of Danbury, CT and April Peters of Rockland, ME. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. St. Clair was predeceased by three brothers, Robert, Charles, and George St. Clair; four sisters, Anna Bell Stone, Lois McCartney, Gertrude Costa, and Dora Roberts and a daughter, Vickie Dennison.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY.
