FISHKILL MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUG POSSESSION AND

POSSESSION OF A HYPODERMIC INSTRUMENT

Putnam County Sheriff Robert Langley Jr. reports the arrest of a Fishkill man for drug possession and illegal possession of a hypodermic instrument. On June 20, 2019, Deputy Jonathan Irwin observed suspicious activity between a male and a female, at Putnam Plaza, in the area of New York Sports Club, located in the Town of Carmel. Deputy Irwin informed Deputy Brian Sacher about the suspicious activity. Deputy Sacher made contact with the male at Putnam Plaza. A subsequent investigation revealed that the male, Nickolas Snowden-Decola, age 23, of Fishkill, was in possession of alleged Heroin, alleged Cocaine and Hypodermic Needles (for which he did not provide a prescription for). Mr. Snowden-Decola was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Class A Misdemeanor) and Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument (Class A Misdemeanor). Mr. Snowden-Decola posted $250.00 cash bail. He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Carmel Justice Court and was released pending a future court date in the Town of Carmel Justice Court.
