Anna Lonczak of Pine Plains Inducted into Saint Michael’s Student-Athletes Honor Society During 2018-19 School Year

COLCHESTER, Vt. – Forty-three Saint Michael’s College student-athletes were inducted into 13 different academic honor societies during the 2018-19 school year, including three into Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest and largest academic honor society. Founded in 1776, it promotes excellence in the liberal arts and sciences.

This spring, Saint Michael’s also inducted its seventh class into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society, increasing its membership to 108.

Seven different Purple Knights earned induction into three honor societies in 2018-19, while 11 more gained entry into two. Field hockey and women’s swimming & diving claimed three multi-society honorees as their own, while women’s basketball, Alpine skiing and Nordic skiing had a pair apiece.
