Putnam County Sheriff, Robert L. Langley Jr. reports the arrest of a Peekskill man for Felony DWI, after the man was involved in an automobile accident. On June 8, 2019, at approximately 7:44 a.m., Deputy Kevin Radovich responded to a Putnam 911 dispatch of a report of a one-car property damage accident on Peekskill Hollow Road, in the area of the Taconic State Parkway, located in the Town of Putnam Valley. Upon arrival, Deputy Radovich observed a vehicle off the roadway, that had struck a tree head-on. Deputy Radovich made contact with the vehicle’s driver, Jaime Ramon, age 34, of Peekskill who was allegedly intoxicated. It was also revealed that Mr. Ramon’s privileges to drive in the State of New York were revoked in December of 2016 for an Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated conviction and on May 2, 2013, for a Driving While Intoxicated conviction. Mr. Ramon was placed under arrest and transported to the Putnam County Correctional Facility for arrest processing.
