PHILIPSTOWN MAN ARRESTED FOR DRIVING WITH A REVOKED LICENSE

Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. reports the arrest of a Philipstown man for driving with a revoked driver’s license. On May 3, 2019, at approximately 10:05 p.m., Deputy Kevin Osika observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation, on East Mountain Road South, in the Town of Philipstown. Deputy Osika initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle. A check of the New York State Department of Motor Vehicle computer system revealed that the vehicle’s driver, Miguel Sinchi, age 46, of Philipstown, had a revoked driver’s license, for a previous Driving While Intoxicated offense. Mr. Sinchi was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree (Misdemeanor). He was issued an appearance ticket and released on his own recognizance. Mr. Sinchi is scheduled to appear in the Town of Philipstown Justice Court, at a future date and time.
