State Police Montgomery are investigating a fatal crash on Interstate 84

State Police Montgomery are investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 84 in the town of Montgomery.  On May 17, 2019, at approximately 6:41 a.m., troopers responded to a single vehicle crash on Interstate 84. Preliminary investigation revealed that a Dodge Journey operated by Heather Morgan, age 36 of Beacon, NY was traveling westbound on I-84, left the roadway and entered the center median and struck a tree. Heather Morgan, along with her passenger Derick Jones, age 37 of Beacon, NY died as a result of their injuries sustained in the crash.
