Ima Okon of Stanfordville Celebrated at SUNY Oneonta’s Kente Graduation Recognition Ceremony
ONEONTA, NY (05/13/2019)– Ima Okon of Stanfordville, NY, was among over 160 students who were celebrated as part of the Kente Graduation Recognition Ceremony. Sponsored by the college’s Department of Africana/Latino Studies, the Office of Equity and Inclusion and the Office of Student Diversity and Advocacy, the annual ceremony recognizes the achievements of SUNY Oneonta’s diverse student population-African American, Latino, Asian and Native American (AALANA) students and non-AALANA students and allies.
Okon is graduating this spring with a Bachelor of Science in Food Service & Restaurant Adm.
