State Police Wurtsboro Accident Investigation Leads to DWI Arrest

On Thursday April 9th, 2015 Wurtsboro Troopers investigation at a accident scene lead to the arrest of a Bullville woman for Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.

Wurtsboro Troopers responded to a Sullivan County 911 poll for an accident on Burlingham road early Thursday morning. Upon arrival to the scene Troopers found Alexandra Hambrick, of Bullville, walking away from the scene. Troopers interviewed Hambrick and upon interview and investigation it was determined Hambrick was intoxicated and also had Marihuana in her vehicle. Hambrick was arrested and transported to SP Wurtsboro. Hambrick provided a breath sample of .15% and was charged with Driving While Intoxicated as well as Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. Hambrick is due to appear in Town of Mamakating Court at a later date.
